Northwest Iowa — While there’s still a blizzard warning in effect for this Wednesday, the National Weather Service has toned down their prediction as far as the amount of snowfall in Sheldon and northwest Iowa in general.
We talked to Weather Service Meteorologist Matthew Meyers, and he tells us what’s happening.
He tells us that while there will be less snow, there is just as much risk of blizzard conditions.
Meyers reminds us that the biggest impact of this storm system will not be from the falling snow — but rather the very strong and gusty winds, blowing the snow around and causing visibility issues.
