Boone Iowa — District assignments for the next two years for Iowa High School Football should be out later this month. Noticeable changes did happen in the Iowa High School Football classifications in Class A through 4A.
In the immediate area, Spirit Lake jumped up to Class 3A, while Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley moved to Class 2A. Also in the area, Okoboji moved down to Class 1A. Both Okoboji and Spirit Lake were in Class 2A District 1. Other teams in the District the past two years have included Sheldon, Central Lyon/George-Little Rock, Cherokee, Sioux Center and MOC-Floyd Valley. All of those teams remained in 2A.
