Hawarden, Iowa — Fifth ranked West Sioux will host number seven Treynor in the quarterfinal round of the class 1A playoffs on Friday night. These teams met in the opening round a year ago and West Sioux claimed a 49-14 win.
That’s Cardinal’s head Coach Jeff Casey. Treynor will need to slow down a West Sioux offense led by the state’s all-time leading passer in Hunter Dekkers.
Casey says the offense will need to do its part.
West Sioux coach Ryan Schwiesow says the key for his defense will be Treynor quarterback Jake Fisher.
Schwiesow says they need to slow down Treynor’s run game.
Schiewsow says Treynor has a solid defense.
Kick off is at 7 pm in Hawarden.
