Sioux City, Iowa – A Dordt University Defender as earned Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Softball Player-of-the-Week honors as announced by the GPAC Tuesday, March 25th.
Lauren Steenstra of Dordt University was the athlete selected. Steenstra, a junior from Wyoming, Michigan, tied a school record with three homeruns against Doane on Saturday and had eight RBIs on the week. All six of her hits this weekend were extra base hits, she had a .333 slugging percentage and she scored five times.
