Ahron Ulis Eyes Bigger Role At Iowa

Iowa’s Ahron Ulis is expected to step up his game at the point guard spot next season.

With Jordan Bohannon out of eligibility and Joe Toussaint off to West Virginia the junior from Chicago is expected to have an expanded role.

Improved shooting is a goal. Ulis played in 35 games last season but shot just 34 percent from the field and made only four of 12 from three point range.

Ulis says Iowa coach Fran McCaffery talked to him about his expanded role.
