State-wide, Iowa – The Iowa Girls’ Coaches Association has announced the 2024 all-district volleyball honors in all five classes in the state.
There were multiple athletes from Western Christian and Unity Christian that earned recognition in the Class 3A West district with Sioux Center coach Julie Oldenkamp earning Coach of the Year honors in district.
In the Class 2A Northwest district multiple athletes from Central Lyon, Boyden-Hull, Rock Valley, West Lyon and Hinton were named with Boyden-Hull volleyball coach Justine Draayer earning District Coach of the Year.
In the Class 1A Northwest District mutliple athletes from George-Little Rock, Akron-Westfield, Gehlen Catholic and Trinity Christian were honored with Olivia Utesch of River Valley-Correctionville earning Distirct Coach of the Year.
