Des Moines Iowa — The 2020 Iowa State High School Wrestling Tournament opened a three day run at Wells Fargo Area Thursday morning. Wrestling began at 9:00 am with the first round matches in Class 3A. The morning session includes the 1st round followed by the 1st round of consolations. The afternoon session at 1:30 includes the Class 2A 1st round and 1st round consolations. The evening session beginning at 6:00 pm features the 1st round of Class 1A and the 1st round of consolations.
The area will be well represented by Siouxland, War Eagle and Lakes Conference individuals. Here’s that list of qualifiers.
