Beaver To Northwestern

Northwesstern logoOrange City, Iowa — Madison Beaver (Sioux Center, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her softball career at Northwestern next year.

Beaver is a multi-sports standout who has played four years for the Sioux Center High School softball team heading into her final season. The 5’9” shortstop hit a team-best .482, totaling 53 hits with eight doubles and two triples, in leading her team to a substate berth and a 26-4 overall record last year. Beaver also led the Siouxland Conference with 37 stolen bases, earning second team all-state honors. Beaver is a three-time all-conference selection, earning first team honors the last two years, and was named all-district as a junior. A member of the National Honor Society, Beaver plans to major in biology at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Paul and Pam.
