(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the softball player and pitcher-of-the-week for contests played April 12-18, 2021. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2020-21 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Player – Emily Bosch, Northwestern College (Catcher)
Emily Bosch of Northwestern is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports softball player-of-the-week. Bosch, a senior from Ankeny, Iowa, hit .556, totaling 10 hits in 18 at-bats in doubleheaders against Dakota Wesleyan, Doane and Hastings. She hit safely in five of the six games and scored 11 runs to go with nine RBIs. Bosch had back-to-back three-hit games and also went 3-for-3 in stolen bases.
