Caleb Dokter, a senior at Western Christian High School (Iowa), has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender golf program.
“Caleb is a great addition to the Dordt golf program and comes from a solid golf program at Western Christian, coached by Derek Keizer. Caleb is an all-conference performer and has his sights set on qualifying for the state golf meet in 2020. He is a strong leader and will be a great teammate joining our program next fall. Caleb has a high ceiling and it’s exciting to think about how he can grow and develop as a golfer,” said Dordt golf coach Mark Christians.
Dokter had a 38 9-hole average last season and claimed all-conference honors for the Wolfpack.
“I chose to commit because I feel at home on the campus and I feel I will get a good, God-centered education at Dordt,” said Dokter.
Caleb is the son of Dennis and Joeli Dokter of Sioux Center, Iowa. He plans to study Business at Dordt.
