Dordt will host Doane on Saturday, October 17 with kickoff at 1:00.
Doane is 2-2 this season and both overall and in the GPAC. The Tigers have wins over Briar Cliff (13-6) and Hastings (52-37) and losses to Concordia (24-7) and Dakota Wesleyan (29-26).
The Tigers run for 196 yards per game and pass for 105 and are allowing 132 on the ground and 194 in the air. Doane is outscoring teams 24.5-24 this season.
Jamaine Derogene has run for 354 yards and five touchdowns and has a 6.6 yards per carry average. Jacobi White has run for 266 yards with a 6.7 yards per carry average and has two scores and Adam Wasserman has run for 192 yards on 40 carries and has two touchdown runs and a 4.5 yards per carry average. Wasserman has completed 22-51 passes for 244 yards this season and has five touchdowns and five interceptions. Drake Davidson is 23-42 passing for 177 yards in two game appearances.
The Defenders are 3-1 this season and in the GPAC with wins over Midland (22-14), Dakota Wesleyan (47-10) and Jamestown (66-13). The loss for Dordt cam on October 3 against Northwestern (48-40).
The Defenders run for 300 yards per game on average and pass for 233. Dordt’s defense allows 103 yards per game on the ground and 239 in the air. Dordt is outscoring teams on average 44-21.
Noah Clayberg has completed 60-90 passes for 749 yards and six touchdowns with one interception. He has also run 60 times for 466 yards—a 7.8 yards per carry average and has six rushing touchdowns. Carter Schiebout has 317 yards rushing on 53 attempts with a 6.0 yards per carry average with five touchdowns. Michael Sondermann has run 37 times for 142 yards and a 3.8 yards per carry average.
Levi Jungling has caught 29 passes for an 11.8 yards per catch average and has two touchdown catches. Ben Heuvelhorst has a 10.1 yards per catch average with two touchdowns and Raphael Carr has eight catches for 11.4 yards per catch.
Dordt will travel to face Concordia on Saturday, October 24 before hosting Morningside on October 31. Doane will be at home with Northwestern on October 24 before a bye week.
