Dordt Men At Mitchell Wednesday

Mitchell, South Dakota — The Dordt men will travel to Mitchell, South Dakota to face the Dakota Wesleyan Tigers in GPAC play on Wednesday, January 26. The game will tip off at 7:45.

Dakota Wesleyan is 9-11 this season and 6-7 in the conference. The Tigers had won three in a row before a six point loss to Doane on January 22.

The Defenders are 6-6 in the GPAC and 14-7 overall and stopped a three game losing skid with a 77-63 win over Midland. Dordt has outscored opponents 82.6-71.4 and outrebounded teams 36.3-33.4.

Bryce Coppock scores 18.1 points per game with 4.0 rebounds and he has made 38 made three-point shots. Cade Bleeker has made 12.7 points per game with 4.5 rebounds and is making 50.6 percent of his field goals and leads the team with 42 made three-point shots and a 40.4 success rate on the long shot. Luke Rankin is good for 10.5 points with 5.0 assists and Jackson Louscher has an 8.1 points per game average with 63.3 percent field goal shooting.

Dordt beat Dakota Wesleyan 72-58 on December 11 after leading 32-23. Bryce Coppock scored 20 in the win and Cade Bleeker and Luke Rankin had 14 and 12 respectively. Dordt had a 40-26 rebounding advantage and Mason Larson led the Tigers with 18 and Wittler added 17.
