Dordt Men To Face Midland Saturday

Fremont, Nebraska — Dordt will travel to face Midland in Fremont, Nebraska on Saturday, December 4 with the game tipping off at 3:45.

The Midland Warriors are 9-3 this season and are 2-2 in the GPAC with conference wins over Northwestern and Mount Marty and losses to Concordia and Jamestown. The Warriors have won four games in a row since the back to back conference losses on November 17 and 20.

Dordt is 9-3 this season and 1-2 in the GPAC with losses to Morningside and Concordia and a win over Briar Cliff on November 23. The Defenders have won three games in a row and have been idle since a November 27 victory over Peru State.

Dordt scores 87.7 points per game while giving up 71.7 points per contest. The Defenders also outrebound teams 38.3-33.5 and convert 52.8 percent of its field goal attempts while allowing teams to make 41.8. Dordt averages 10.7 turnovers per game and forces 11.8.

Jacob Vis averages 16.2 points per game with 7.4 rebounds and Bryce Coppock’s average is 16.1 with 4.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Cade Bleeker is good for 13.3 points per game and Luke Rankin is adding 11.6 with 6.1 assists per game. Jackson Louscher’s scoring average is 7.4 points per game.

Dordt will host Northwestern on Wednesday and Dakota Wesleyan on Saturday.

The Warriors are hosting Hastings on December 8 and will travel to Briar Cliff to play the Chargers on December 18.
