Sioux Center Iowa — After months of planning and review in conjunction with the National Administrative Council, the NAIA National Office and the NAIA Men’s Volleyball Executive Committee, the Dordt men’s volleyball application for Invitational Status has been approved effective 2015-2016 season. Along with this announcement came the conference alignments for the upcoming season.
Dordt College will be part of the Midwest Volleyball Conference made up of eight schools from the current Great Plains Athletic, Kansas Collegiate Athletic and American Midwest Conferences. The Defenders are scheduled to open the season in late January 2016 and the schedule will run through mid-April.
The Midwest Volleyball Conference will include:

Dordt College (Iowa)
Morningside College (Iowa)
Hannibal-LaGrange University (Missouri)
Lindenwood University (Missouri)
Missouri Baptist University
Park University (Missouri)
Ottawa University (Kansas)
