Dordt Volleyball’s Timmermans And Krommendyk Earn National Championship Recognition

Sioux Center, Iowa — The NAIA Women’s National Volleyball Championship concluded Saturday, May 1 and Dordt had two players recognized for their performances at the NAIA National Championship.

Allison Timmermans (Senior; Orange City, Iowa) was named to the all-tournament team after averaging 3.05 kills per set with a .365 kill efficiency in five matches while helping the Defenders to the semifinal round of the NAIA National Championship.

Brenna Krommendyk (Sophomore; Belle Plain, Minnesota) was the Defender of the Tournament after averaging 1.71 blocks per set and she also had a 2.33 kills per set average in the event.

The Defenders concluded the season with an 18-7 mark and qualified for the semifinal round of the NAIA National Championship for the fourth time in program history.
