Dordt Women Continue Non-Conference Schedule

Bellevue, Nebraska — Dordt will travel to Bellevue, Nebraska to play the Bellevue Bruins on Tuesday, November 9 in a 6:00 pm tipoff. This will be a non-conference contest.

The Bruins are 2-2 this season with wins over Peru State and Midland and losses to Concordia and the College of Saint Mary. Bellevue is averaging 69.3 points per game with 67.3 points allowed and the Bruins outrebound teams 37.3-33.8.

Dordt is 2-1 this season with wins over Dakota State and Presentation and a loss to Grand View. The Defenders are averaging 73.7-72 points per game and outrebound teams 40-7-33.7. The Defenders are making 39.3 percent of their field goals and allow 45.1 percent success. Dordt forces 18.7 turnovers per game and average 12.7 turnovers per contest.

Ashtyn Veerbeek scores 21 points per game with 10.3 rebounds per contest and she blocks 1.7 shots per game and converts 57.4 percent of her field goal attempts. Mya Chmielewski adds 11 points and 3.3 steals per contest. Janie Schoonhoven is scoring 10.0 points and gets seven rebounds per contest and Bailey Beckman scores 9.3 and Karley Gustafson is at 8.7 points with 6.7 rebounds.

Dordt will play in two games on Friday and Saturday against Marian and Valley City State at Orange City, Iowa. Dordt is scheduled to travel to Morningside on November 17 to open GPAC play.
