Cedar Falls, Iowa — Drake took control with a 12-2 second half run and held off UNI for a hard fought 77-69 win in Cedar Falls.
Joe Yesufu had a career high 20-points and Garrett Sturtz added a career-high 19 as the Bulldogs improve to 21-2 on the season.
That’s Drake coach Darian DeVries who felt the Bulldogs picked it up defensively in the second half.
Yesufu finished four of eight from three point range as the Bulldogs connected on 62 percent in the second half.
Senior center Austin Phyfe led UNI with 19 points. The Panthers fall to 5-11 in Missouri Valley play.
