Fedders Signs With Northwestern Track

Orange City, Iowa– Akeyma Fedders (Orange City, Iowa) has signed her letter of intent to continue her track and field career at Northwestern College.

Fedders has participated in track and field for four years at MOC-Floyd Valley. She was a state qualifier her junior season in the medley relay and was a member of the team that qualified for the Drake Relays that same season. Fedders was also a member of a conference championship team in 2021.

“We are excited to have Akeyma running for our Raider Track & Field team!” stated Head Coach Scott Bahrke. “She brings a great work ethic and is very coachable.”

Fedders plans to study Business Management at Northwestern College. She is a member of the National Honor Society and was selected Academic All-Conference for volleyball. She is the daughter of JJ and Brent.

“I chose Northwestern because of the community feel the campus gave me,” stated Fedders. “I can see myself growing academically, athletically, and in my faith at Northwestern.”
