Football Broadcast Preview For Friday August 28th

Northwest Iowa — The 2020 Iowa High School football season opens Friday night with Sheldon at home against Estherville Lincoln Central and Boyden Hull Rock Valley the guest of Western Christian at A.R. Hesla Field in Hull. Listen for broadcast coverage of the Orabs on 100.7. FM. Season long coverage of the Nighthawks will come your way on KIWA FM 105.3.

Orab Head Coach Tyler Lloyd feels biggest key Friday night and all year long is to protect the football.

Making big plays is also a priority.

E-LC Head Coach Ryan Rezac is happy to renew the series with Sheldon.

For the Midgets one of the keys to success tonight and all season long will be special teams play.

The Coach Kory Roos joins LA again this season for the broadcasts on FM 100.7 and AM 1550.

 

The Nighthawks make the move to Class 3A this season and will open the year hosted by Western Christian. The Wolfpack open the year as the #8 team in Class 1A.

Nighthawks Head Coach Corey Brandt says the key word for his offense is balance.

The opener will let the coach know exactly where his teams development is.

Western Christian Head Coach Travis Kooima is looking for balance on offense as well.

For the Wolfpack the opener is mainly about competition.
