Northwest Iowa — The regular season comes to a close for high school football in Iowa on Friday. Sheldon will close the year at Rock Rapids against Central Lyon George Little Rock. Following a home win on senior night the Orabs take a 3-5 season record and 2-2 in the district to CL-G-LR. The Lions have wrapped up the district title with an overtime win at Sioux Center last Friday. They are 4-0 in the district and 4-4 on the season.
Three areas of the Lions team in particular stand out to Orab Head Coach Tyler Lloyd.
For Lloyd the keys to the game come together this way.
Head Coach Curtis Eben and his Lion squad are not taking the Sheldon offense lightly.
For the Lions a big key will be recognition on defense.

The Nighthawks close the year at home against Sioux Center. BHRV is 3-1 in the district and 3-5 on the season. The Warriors are 3-1 in the district as well and 5-3 for the year following last Friday’s overtime loss in Sioux Center.
