Football Broadcast Preview for Friday October 4th

Northwest Iowa —  It’s week six of the high school football season and Sheldon is at home against Sioux Center while Boyden Hull Rock Valley travels to Okoboji. Listen for broadcast coverage of the Orabs on FM 100.7. Season long coverage of the Nighthawks continues on KIWA FM 105.3.

After a road win over MOC Floyd Valley last week Sheldon will take a 2-3 record (1-0 in the district) into a home game against 3-2 (1-0) Sioux Center.

Sheldon Head Coach Tyler Lloyd feels special teams will be especially important this week.

Lloyd on the 35 defense presenting some special challenges.

Boyden Hull/Rock Valley is on the road for a second week in a row as they take an 0-5  record into Okoboji to go against a 2-3 (0-1) Pioneer team.

Nighthawks Head Coach Cory Brandt knows the Pioneers will be ready.

Brandt adds discipline and consistency will get his team to the goal of a 4 quarter game.

Okoboji Head Coach Jon Allen isn’t putting much stock in the Nighthawks record.
