Football Coaches See Light At The End Of The Tunnel

Cedar Falls, Iowa — Football coaches say they are confident that COVID testing won’t be a regular occurrence once the fall season begins.

UNI wrapped up its spring season Saturday with a 23-20 loss to second ranked North Dakota State. The Panthers had one game canceled this spring due to a positive test in the South Dakota program.

That’s UNI coach Mark Farley. Drake has one game remaining in its spring season and coach Todd Stepsis says as more people get the vaccine the need for testing will diminish.
