Friday Football Broadcast Preview For October 15th

Week eight of the regular season finds Sheldon wrapping up the regular season while Boyden Hull Rock Valley has two games remaining.

Sheldon will end the regular season at Unity Christian coming off a home loss to Central Lyon George Little Rock. The Knights lost to West Lyon on the road last Friday. Sheldon will take a 3-4 season mark 2-2 in the district into the contest. Unity is 4-3 on the season and 2-2 in district  1 as well.

The biggest key to the game for the Knights is ball security.

The coach Kory Roos joins LA for the coverage on KIWA AM 1550/FM 100.7 with pregame at 6:30 and opening kick at 7:00.

Boyden Hull Rock Valley the #3 team in Class 3A will host MOC Floyd Valley in Rock Valley this week. The Nighthawks are 7-0 for the year and 3-0 in the district. The Dutch take a 3-4 season mark into the game and are 1-2 in 3A district 1.  The Nighthawks won on the road at Sergeant Bluff Luton while the Dutch fell at home to Carroll.

Nighthawk Head Coach Corey Brandt feels focus will be important this week.

The goal is to get better in all three phases.
