Hawkeye Offense Eyes Progress

Iowa City, Iowa — A young offensive line looks to help the Iowa offense make strides.

The Hawkeyes are averaging just over 122 yards on the ground in two games and redshirt freshman left tackle Mason Richman says having spring practice and summer workouts helped the offensive line get ready.

Richman says working against the Iowa defense helped prepare them.

Redshirt freshman tight end Luke Lachey says blocking in the run game has been the biggest adjustment for him.

Iowa hosts Kent State on Saturday.
