Des Moines, Iowa — The Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-State girls basketball teams are out.
Named to the Class 1A All-State second team was Emily Dreckman of MMCRU. 3rd Team honors went to Ellie Hilbrands of MMCRU.
Class 2A second team honors went to Hayden Heimensen of Central Lyon. Third team honors went to Lexie Van Kekerix of Rock Valley.
The Class 3A All-State First team recognition went to Brooklyn Meyer of West Lyon, JaMae Nichols of Cherokee, and Janie and Gracie Schoonhoven of Unity Christian. Named to the second team was Jayden Nitchels of ELC. Third team honors went to Alexis Pingle of Cherokee. West Lyon’s Ryan Brasser earned 3A Coach Of The Year Honors.
