Iowa DE Max Llewellyn on spring drills

Iowa City, Iowa (RI) – With several key players gone from Iowa’s defensive line, Max Llewellyn will be counted on for an even bigger role this coming fall.

The senior defensive end from Urbandale was third in sacks for a team that finished with a record of 8-5.

Llewellyn has shown the ability to make the big play. It was his strip sack and fumble recovery that led to a game- winning field goal against Nebraska last season.

The Hawkeyes close spring drills on April 26th with an open practice in Kinnick Stadium.
