Ohio State scored on four straight possessions to open the second half to blow the game open in a 35-7 win over the Hawkeyes. It was the latest in a series of blow out losses to rated foes.
That’s Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz. The Hawkeyes trailed 7-0 at halftime before three second half turnovers by quarterback Cade McNamara triggered the avalanche.
Ferentz says McNamara remains the starter at quarterback. Brendan Sullivan led the Hawkeyes to their lone touchdown after the Buckeyes called off the dogs.
Ferentz says they are not ready to change quarterbacks just yet.
