Iowa Players Preview Purdue

Iowa City, Iowa — Iowa quarterback Spencer Petras says the Hawkeyes have moved on after a thrilling win over Penn State.

The second ranked Hawkeyes are at home on Saturday against Purdue.

Freshman Keegan Johnson has provided the Hawkeyes some big plays at receiver. Johnson had a big play against Penn State and is averaging over 34 yards per catch.

Johnson says the Hawkeyes have plenty of room for improvement.

Senior guard Kyler Schott says while focused on the next game the Hawkeyes are enjoying their lofty ranking.

The Iowa defense faces a difficult challenge this weekend trying to cover Purdue standout receiver David Bell. In a 24-20 Boilermaker victory a year ago, Bell had 13 receptions for 121 yards and three touchdowns.

The Hawkeyes have lost three of the last four to Purdue.

Campbell says the Purdue offense is a tough matchup.
