Iowa plays Missouri Monday afternoon in the Music City Bowl in Nashville. With star running back Kaleb Johnson opting out the Hawkeyes will depend on the combination of redshirt freshman Kamari (kuh-mar-ee) Moulton and sophomore Jaz Patterson. Moulton is second in the team in rushing with 377 yards and two touchdowns.
Moulton says the Iowa run game will be tested by the Tiger defense.
After deciding to return after last season’s Citrus Bowl loss to Tennessee Hawkeye safety Quinn Schulte (shull-tee) prepares for his final game in an Iowa uniform.
Iowa return special Kaden Wetjen (we-jun) earned All American honors this season. He says Missouri has done a good job against returns.
Iowa’s defense will be tested by a Tiger offense led by quarterback Brady Cook.
That’s Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz who says one of Cook’s biggest strengths is hios experience.
Kick off is set for 1:30 Monday afternoon
