Iowa State released a list of 23 members of a football recruiting class.
Ankeny quarterback J.J. Kohl is one of several central Iowa standouts on the list.
That’s ISU coach Matt Campbell who says he is pleased with the class.
Kooper Ebel from the Hartley Melvin Sanborn program signed his letter of intent with the Cyclones Wednesday. He is projected to play linebacker at Iowa State. Ebel is listed at 6-3, 215. The three star recruit was named to the Des Moines Register All-Iowa Elite Team.
