Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says the Hawkeyes will need to be good out of the starting gate this season.
The Hawkeyes have a rare season opener against a Big Ten opponent when they host Indiana on September fourth.
Ferentz says a key this season will be replacing a number of players on both sides of the line of scrimmage.
