Iowa City, Iowa — Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says it will be about performance and not the atmosphere when the third ranked Hawkeyes host fourth ranked Penn State.
It will be the biggest game in Kinnick Stadium since the one versus two showdown with Michigan in 1985.
Ferentz says the players need to remain focused on the task at hand.
Ferentz was Hayden Fry’s offensive line coach for the 1985 game against Michigan.
Ferentz says Penn State has a lot more experience in games like these and will take a big effort from the Hawkeyes.
Ferentz says no matter what the outcome there is still half of the regular season left to play.
