Kenzie Keune Earns GPAC Track Honor

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women’s outdoor track & field athletes-of-the-week for events held April 8-14, 2019. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2018-2019 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes-of-the-Week

Track Events – Kenzie Keune, Northwestern College

Kenzie Keune of Northwestern is this week’s track athlete-of-the-week. Keune, a junior from Sioux Rapids, Iowa, turned in a first and second place finish at the Sioux City Relays last weekend. Keune won the 400m hurdles with a season-best time of 1:04.26, the top time in the GPAC and 15th best in the nation, meeting the NAIA Provisional mark. She also placed second in the 100m hurdles with a personal-best time of 14.94, third best in the GPAC and 26th fastest in the NAIA, also meeting the provisional mark.
