Orange City, Iowa —Kelsey Lang has signed a letter of intent to continue her cross country and track and field careers at Northwestern College next fall.
Lang is a three-year letter winner for both the MOC-Floyd Valley High School cross country and track and field teams. A three-year state qualifier in cross country, Lang earned all-state honors with a ninth place finish at the state meet in 2013 and placed 15th in 2014. She won the Siouxland Conference Individual championship as a senior and finished second in 2014. Lang has a personal best of 20:12 in the 5K.
A three-time state qualifier in track and field, Lang placed 11th at state and also holds the school record as a member of the 4×800 relay. She has personal bests of 2:25 in the 800m and 5:18 in the 1500m. An honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society, Lang is the daughter of Chris and Sherry.

Kelsey is a talented distance runner who has a huge heart and it will fun to watch her grow at Northwestern College over the next four years.”
