Sioux Center, Iowa — The Dordt University football program has announced its initial signees for the class of 2020 on Wednesday, December 18.
“I am very pleased with our start to the class of 2020. A large majority of these commits are prospects who have been on campus multiple times. We saw them at junior day last spring, camp in the summer, game day visits, and official visits this fall. They are strong students and very talented football players. We anticipate them having a big impact on our program over the next four years,” said Dordt football coach Joel Penner.
From Northwest Iowa, Adam Mohning played for Sioux Center High School (Iowa) and is listed 6-0, 230 pounds. He had 27 tackles this season with seven sacks and played defensive end and offensive guard. He’s a three-year letter winner and was a two-time all-district pick. Mohning has been invited to participate in the 2020 Iowa Shrine Bowl.
