No. 2 Morningside Hosts Kansas Wesleyan In NAIA Quarterfinal Saturday

Sioux City, Iowa — Second ranked Morningside hosts Kansas Wesleyan Saturday in the quarterfinal round of the NAIA playoffs.

The Mustangs advanced with a first round win over Ottawa of Arizona while Kansas Wesleyan advanced without play. The Coyotes first round opponent, Indiana Wesleyan, withdrew from the playoffs for using an ineligible player during the regular season.

That’s Morningside coach Steve Ryan who says Kansas Wesleyan will provide a tough challenge

Ryan hopes the home field is an advantage.
