Northern Iowa Falls To 0-2 After Loss To Vermont

Cedar Falls, Iowa — UNI is now 0-2 after another cold shooting performance.

The Panthers connected on 36 percent and made only six of 21 from three point range in a 71-57 loss to Vermont. AJ Green finished with 19 points to lead the Panthers.

Austin Phyfe had 11 points and Noah Carter came off the bench to finish with 11. UNI will look for its first win Sunday by hosting the University of Dubuque.

UNI coach Ben Jacobson wants his team to remain positive.

UNI will host its third consecutive home game against the University of Dubuque at 5 p.m. on November 14th.
