Northern Iowa women visit Southern Illinois Friday night

Cedar Falls, Iowa – After dropping a pair of games at home the UNI women open a Missouri Valley Conference road trip Friday night at Southern Illinois.

The Panthers are 4-3 in the Valley after home losses to Murray State and Belmont.

That’s Panther coach Tanya Warren who says the Salukis will be a tough matchup despite their 1-5 conference record.

Saluki junior forward Gift Uchenna is averaging nearly 30 points and more than 13 rebounds per game.
