Sioux City, Iowa – Northwestern pitcher Kayla Tindall is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Softball Pitcher-of-the-Week.
Tindall, a 5’10 freshman hailing from Akron, Iowa pitched a complete-game, two-hitter in leading Northwestern to a 6-0 win over Nebraska Wesleyan in game two of a doubleheader. Tindall walked two and struck out four while giving up just two singles in recording her second shutout of the season. The freshman helped her cause with a two-run single at the plate.
