Northwestern To Hit the Gridiron Against Marian on Saturday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the Quarterfinal pairings of the 2021 NAIA Football Championship Series (FCS), as they announced the Northwestern College football team (11-1, 9-1 GPAC) will host No. 7-ranked Marian University (Ind.) (9-2, 6-1 MSFA) in Orange City, Iowa this upcoming Saturday, November 27.

Due to travel issues with one of the First Round matchups this week, the NAIA had to delay the reseeding meeting and announcement to allow for the (16) Montana Western and (1) Lindsey Wilson game to finish up Sunday, after their noon kickoff.

The Raiders downed the No. 16-ranked Central Methodist Eagles yesterday 24-7 to advance to their second straight Quarterfinal round. Three of the four quarterfinal games will take place in the state of Iowa.
