Sioux Center, Iowa — Elizabeth Rankin, a graduate of Boyden Hull High School, has announced her intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender track program.
Rankin competed for the Boyden Hull Rock Valley Nighthawks and posted personal bests of 2:26 in the 800 meters; 59 in the 400 meters; 26.6 in the 200 meters and 12.2 in the 100 meters. She twice qualified four times for the state track and field meet and was named her team’s mvp in 2015 and was the most valuable middle distance runner in 2014.
Elizabeth is the daughter of Eric and Lora Rankin of Hull, Iowa. She plans to study biology andpre-physical therapy at Dordt College.
