Red Raiders Move Up In Football Coaches’ Poll

The Northwestern College football team moved up one spot in this week’s NAIA Football Coaches’ poll released earlier today by the national office.

Off last weekend with its bye, Northwestern managed to climb to seventh in the Oct. 7 poll after both Benedictine and University of Saint Francis (Ind.) lost, earning 294 total points. The Red Raiders boast a 4-0 record, one of 13 teams still unbeaten in the NAIA. They are one of two teams (Morningside) from the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) recognized in this week’s poll.

The Mustangs are ranked first once again, occupying the top spot for the 13th straight week dating back to the 2018 season. Kansas Wesleyan is second, moving up two spots, followed by Marian (Ind.), Concordia (Mich.) and Grand View.
