The first round of regional tournament girls golf is set for Monday for Class 1A, 2A and 3A. A sectional boys meet postponed from Thursday May 14th will be decided as well.
Class 3A
The Sheldon Orabs will be competing in the Class 3A Regional at Woodlyn Hills hosted by Okoboji. The rest of the field includes Cherokee, East Sac County, Kuemper Catholic, MOC Floyd Valley, Sioux Center and Spirit Lake.
Class 2A
Boyden Hull, HMS, Rock Valley, Sibley Ocheyedan, Sioux Central, South O’Brien, Unity, West Lyon, and Western at Lansmeer hosted by Unity
Class 1A
Akron Westfield, Central Lyon, Gehlen, George Little Rock, Remsen St Mary’s, Remsen Union, and West Sioux at the Akron Golf Club
Boys Class 3A Sectional
The Class 3A boys sectional originally set for Thursday the 14th was postponed until Monday and will be decided at the Spencer Golf and Country Club. Participating schools will include Algona, Denison-Schleswig, Humboldt, Le Mars, MOC-Floyd Valley, Spencer, Spirit Lake and Storm Lake.
