UNI vs NDSU Preview

The head coach has changed but the results have not at North Dakota State as the top ranked Bison get set to host a Northern Iowa team that is ranked 10th in the latest FCS poll.

Matt Entz was elevated to head coach after Chris Klieman left to take over at Kansas State. They are off to a 5-0 start.

That’s UNI coach Mark Farley who says North Dakota State has been impressive in the opening month of the season.

This game will match a UNI run defense that is giving up 95 yards per game against a Bison run game that is averaging 288 per contest.

UNI has come close in Fargo in past years and Farley says it takes a four quarter effort to get a win.

Farley says getting some wins on the roads is a key to staying in the league hunt.
