UNI’s Mark Farley Previews South Dakota State

UNI coach Mark Farley says defensive lineman Brawntae Wells will be sidelined the remainder of the season with an injury.

The redshirt senior was injured in a loss at North Dakota State and Farley says the Panthers will miss his experience and leadership.

The Panthers are 3-3 after a home loss to South Dakota and next up visit seventh ranked South Dakota State.

The Jackrabbits are 5-1.

Samford transfer Chris Oladokun at quarterback has passed for nearly 13 hundred yards and 14 touchdowns.

He leads a South Dakota Sate offense that averages just under 46 points per game.

Farley says Matt Morrisey is the Panther’s back up at quarterback. Game one starter Will McElvain entered the transfer portal after losing his job to Theo Day.

The Panthers have dropped to 24th on the latest FCS Coaches Poll.
