Rock Valley, Iowa — Rock Valley Rocket Bryson Van Grootheest has announced on social media that he has committed to the Morningside University basketball program.

The 6’1″ senior leads the Rockets in scoring this season and averages 17.8 points per game while shooting nearly 50% from the field and 37.9% from beyond the arc. As a junior Van Grootheest averaged 16.5 points per game.
A multisport athlete, Van Grootheest was apart of the Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley football team that made two trips to the dome, and also competed in track and field for BH/RV.
