West Lyon Overpowers Nighthawks

Rock Valley, Iowa — The West Lyon Wildcats’ size was too much for the Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley Nighthawks Friday night at Nick Hulst Field. West Lyon got the win 28-0.West Lyon got on the board midway through the 1st quarter when Zach Van Beek punched it in from 1 yard out to make it 7-0 Wildcats. West Lyon scored twice in the second quarter. Eli Moser ran it in from 5 yards out, and Van Beek scored again from 30 yards out. Heading into halftime it was 21-0 Wildcats.

West Lyon added to their lead in the 3rd when Tanner Severson scored from 5 yards out to make it 28-0, and that would be your final.

West Lyon improves to 2-0 on the year and hosts MOC-Floyd Valley to open district play. BHRV falls to 1-1 and is on the road to SBL to open their district schedule.
