Wisconsin Edges Iowa In OT

Wisconsin outscored Iowa 9-3 to close overtime in a 78-75 win in Iowa City.

It spoiled a late rally in regulation that saw the Hawkeyes erase an eight point lead in the final minute to force the extra session.

That’s Iowa coach Fran McCaffery. Leading scorer Kris Murray missed his second straight game with a leg injury point guard Ahron Ulis also missed the game with an injured hip.

Patrick McCaffery had a career high 24 points. His late three tied the game in regulation and desperation three in overtime rimmed out at the horn.
