The USCA says since the repeal of Country of Origin Labeling (COOL) back in 2015, there is no clear definition of what constitutes a U.S. beef product.

Biofuels Coalition Files Court Petition Against EPA
IABRN — Earlier this week a coalition of biofuels supporters filed a petition in the Washington, D.C. Court of Appeals. The coalition includes the American Coalition for Ethanol, Growth Energy, the National Biodiesel Board, the National Corn Growers Association, National Farmers Union, and the Renewable Fuels Association (RFA). The petition is a direct challenge to the methods used by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to grant small refinery exemptions (SRE’s) to certain undisclosed refiners.

IABRN — The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) in Iowa is processing $ 42,735,299 in Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) payments for the 2018 crop year. Additionally, Iowa FSA is distributing $374,588,883 in Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) rental payments to landowners to support voluntary conservation efforts on private lands.
