Deadline To Participate In NCC’s 8th Grade Career Day Is March 31st
Sheldon, Iowa — The deadline is rapidly approaching for businesses to sign up to be a part of this year’s 8th Grade Career Day at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon.
According to NCC, they’re looking for individuals to share their careers through hands-on activities for their April 14th, 8th Grade Career Fair. NCC officials say they are excited to offer approximately 1500 8th-grade students a chance to explore a multitude of careers through hands-on activities and are looking for individuals who would like to connect with these students through a hands-on activity about their career, which could include a simulator or other hands-on activities. NCC officials say all careers are welcome.
If interested, you can register (at no cost) by clicking here by March 31. A catered meal from Langer’s will be provided for the presenters.
If you’re not sure how to create a hands-on activity for your career or have other questions, NCC says you can just email careerday@nwicc.edu for assistance.
